Upcoming IPMI Conference to highlight the future of platinum group metals

Published 23 MAY 2014 on KITCO News

The International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) will have its annual conference in Orlando, Florida from June 7-10, 2014. Its title “Back to the future or back to the past” indicates a strong focus on reflecting on the industry’s achievements while trying to get a firmer grasp on its likely future.

Fitting the topic, several of the sessions will feature technical and market outlooks and highlight trending new developments and technologies that will change the markets for precious metals.

Session G, which I will moderate myself, will be entirely focused on PGMs and the market outlook for technology metals. Technology metals are precious metals’ friends – the two are inseparable in creating current and future technology. New facts and aspects of Kitco News’ “Tech Metals Insider” topics as well as a more in-depth background on the impact of these innovations will be at the center of presentations in this session. I will be available during the conference for questions and discussions.

The event will be covered extensively by Kitco News so be sure to check our website during the conference for news updates, and video interviews.

If you have not registered for the conference yet, it is not too late. Registration details can be found at www.ipmi.org
